Minor in Human Services & Social Justice (HSSJ)

The new Human Services & Social Justice Program takes effect in Fall 2014. Students declaring a minor in HSSJ must complete the general requirements per the Columbian College of Arts and Sciences (CCAS) in addition to the following 18 CREDITS required of the major. The following requirements must be fulfilled: 18 credits, including 9 credits in required courses and 9 credits in elective courses.

Achievement of a minimum grade of C- in any course that counts toward the degree.

HSSJ 1100Introduction to Human Services and Social Justice
HSSJ 3152Fact/Field/Fiction: Intersections in HSSJ (taken for 6 credits)
Three HSSJ courses (at least 9 credits total), with no more than one elective course at the 1000 level, selected in consultation with the program director.
