Dr. Wendy Wagner is the Senior Coordinator for Academic Service-Learning at the Honey W. Nashman Center for Civic Engagement and Public Service. She teaches HSSJ 1100: Introduction to HSSJ and HSSJ 2200: Ethical Leadership. Wendy's scholarship is related to the study of student leadership development, particularly through and for civic engagement. She also studies the facilitation of college student learning and development through community-based learning experiences. Her most recent research is aimed at understanding the varying perspectives and motives of community engaged faculty. Before coming to GW, Wendy served as the Director of the Center for Leadership and Community Engagement and assistant professor of leadership and community engagement in New Century College at George Mason University.
